Super Mario 64 is the only Mario game where you can punch, kick, and obtain the different caps. The wing cap allows Mario to fly after doing a triple jump. The metal cap allows Mario to travel underwater and defeat small enemies by walking into them. The vanish cap allows Mario to walk through certain walls. Mario 64 is the first game to introduce Power Stars.
