The Inklings are apparently humanoid cephalopods who can control their transformation between squid form and kid form at age 14. They have a black ‘eye mask’ around their eyes. Their hair resembles tentacles and matches the color of their ink. In a related note the inside of their mouths is always the same color as their ink. They have two ridges in their mouths that resemble human teeth but they have three sharp points on the ridges, two on top, one on the bottom, just like a squid beak.
The squid form is more cartoonish and they have two big tentacles and about four smaller tentacles in between the big ones. Their eyes are in the middle of their bodies and have the iconic black eye mask.
While the Inklings are squid-like they, ironically can’t swim. The Inklings ink apparently diffuse when in water causing the Inklings to dissolve. The Inklings evolved in such a way that they gave up the ability to touch water.
The Inklings have bioluminescent tentacles as shown in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Inkling reveal trailer. They haveย little glowing dots on their tentacles. The Inklings have their own language which is conveniently called Inkling.
my man sure do like inkling. back when we played smash together, he mained inkling. and sometimes link. i personally mained Ness (Of Course), but I have recently grown an attachment to Shiek. Shes fast, her physical damage is powerful, and I like spamming her up special, probably more then Ness’s PK FIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE i really reccomend this blog for you if you like Cuphead.
